Norce E-Commerce SaaS

Norce is a Sweden-based company that offers an e-commerce solution to Scandinavian and international companies. Together with Norce, I enhanced the front-end implementations, expanded the UI library, and collaborated in GraphQL implementation on the backend.

Challenges

Localization

To increase their customer base, Norce needed to have localization implemented into their SaaS. This meant translating common phrases that are used with an e-commerce platform (ex. Checkout page, Buy), having the option for clients to display their custom text localized (ex.: marketing text on the home page, content on blog pages), and be able to override translations by Norce.

Component Repetition across Partners

By looking at how partners and clients of Norce have implemented the e-commerce solution, it became clear that there were certain components that were rebuilt several times. By identifying these most commonly used components, we re-created them as part of the UI component library. This saved development time by quickly implementing the components instead of building them.
